In a significant development for Swedish cinema, Tulpa Creatives AB has been awarded 950,000 SEK by Kulturbryggan under the program "New Financing Models." This grant will support the continued development of FrameSage, an innovative tool designed to transform the way films in Sweden are financed.
FrameSage, now an independent company in which Tulpa Creatives is a part owner, leverages cutting-edge simulation technology to analyze up to 10,000 potential financial outcomes for film projects. The tool aims to bridge the gap between filmmakers and private investors by providing data-driven insights into the commercial potential of films. Importantly, FrameSage integrates data from various third-party sources, ensuring a comprehensive and objective assessment of risks and opportunities.
Simon Kölle, CEO of Tulpa Creatives, expressed his enthusiasm for the grant:
"We are thrilled and deeply grateful for the support from Kulturbryggan. Sweden has immense talent and capability in filmmaking, and FrameSage provides a cornerstone methodology to enable film projects. For high-quality productions, this tool will simplify conversations with private investors, allowing producers to focus on the creative aspects of their work."
Unlike traditional marketing tools, FrameSage focuses on offering investors clear, actionable decision-making frameworks based on methodologies common in other investment sectors. This approach is intended to bring private financing and filmmaking closer together while preserving the artistic vision of the projects.
The grant reflects a broader commitment to addressing the challenges facing Swedish cinema and fostering innovative solutions for sustainable growth in the industry.
